This thing is solid and weighty. It's well made and does not bend/break easily. Highly recommend

A good non-scratch spatular / turner. The silicon turner part has just the right balance of flexibility and firmness, The wooden handle is sturdy and the construction is solid, but I would not put it in a dishwasher.

Staub products are great. I started with a ladle and now have almost a full set. The silicone is high-quality, and the aesthetic of black silicone and wood fits my style well. The spatula was a great addition, and honestly it is better than i was expecting. The silicone doesn't scratch my non-stick pans, and it's wonderfully balanced between sturdy yet flexible. This is now my go-to spatula. Looking forward to expanding my offerings from Staub.

This is a really high quality coated, firm wood spatula. Great for flipping burgers, chicken, pork chops, etc. I have added this to Staub to the rest of my collection from Staub. The silicone is ceramic pot safe, and isn't too flexible like a cheap nylon device, which is key. I would say the thickness is slightly too much for lifting items thinnerr items from a cookie sheet such as cookies or biscuits, (use a flexible thin metal spatula for that).I also highly recommend my Staub silicone coated wood "spurtle" which is firm for breaking up frozen hamburger, stirring soups and porridges, and stirring the bottom of the creamy pasta pot or beans. Great for serving finished rice dishes from the skillet too. Both items that I own wash up well, and look like new with constant use. The food slides off, and the wood handle still looks glossy. They may even be okay for the dishwasher even, but untested as yet.

These utensils are something I'm proud to have in my kitchen. I bought this spatula, the serving spoon, ladle, and spatula/spoon (which is the strangest-looking and most useful kitchen thing I've ever owned), and I'm so impressed with them all. They are beautiful to look at, and honestly, I bought them because they are so unique.Using them, the wood handles feel nice in the hand, and since I never get the handles wet, I'm sure I'm going to get years of use out of each piece. The silicone part is firm without being either too soft or too firm, super-easy to clean, and don't scratch pans, stainless or non-stick.They're all wonderful, and if you love to cook, love your kitchen, and believe as I do that tools can be elegant and super-functional at the same time, these are for you. Enjoy them as much as I am!
