The quality is far from top of the line, but it’s a great value! For someone who’s starting to get into cubes it’s a cool gift!

These 3 toys come with solutions in the packaging, so with repetition, you can solve all within minutes per session. The triangle is the easiest, just a couple of algorithms to reminder and it’s a piece of cake. Twisting it is a bit quirky, so that is usually what slows me down. The mini-cube is trickier. It looks easy but looks are deceiving. However, once you learn to recognize the patterns, you can solve it within 1 minute easily. The mini-cube is also great at stress relief, as it is palm sized and very easy to twist just for fun, even if you’re not trying to solve it. All three toys are built for speed-turning.The 3x3 cube is a speed Rubik’s cube clone. Once you get used to how it feels, you can solve it faster than the actual Rubik’s cube. For $10, this is a great bargain on Amazon!

I just started Rubik’s cubing, and buying this one as my second cube was a mistake. It is not fluid at all. It is very stiff. It’s also poorly made. It feels like the corner pieces will fall apart at any moment. The 2x2 cube is ok. The pyramid cube is fun, seems to being of a higher quality and moves easier. But that’s still not enough to merit anything more than 1 star for the set. The 3x3 is terrible.I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel an obligation to warn others.

My 9 year old is gifted in math and he is learning algorithms to learn how to solve. He has figured out 3 sides and so close to the 4th on the 3X3. I bought this set because he thought a 2X2 was easier but a friend of mine told me to put the others away 3X3 will be easier for him as he figures out the algorithms. I personally am decent in Math and haven't attempted it yet.
