I rate this steam shower kit as 4 stars because it’s a great little system that’s elevated my bathroom into a personal spa. The modern design, user-friendly controls and touch-screen are some of the nice features. It works well, producing steady steam that is customizable, and the potential health benefits are also attractive. It was crucial for me to factor in other considerations, such as the requirements for a suitable shower enclosure, cost of professional installation and maintenance, but it turned out to be a worthwhile investment for my well-being.

So far so good, but not ready for install yet. I researched all the comparables for the size unit we needed for the steam shower (9'x4'x9' = 12kw) and Steam Spa was the best value and best reviews. *Customer service has already been helpful with questions regarding a 'free aroma pump.' The aroma pump will connect to the generator and disperse our eucalyptus rather than us dropping aroma therapy scents into the steam head. I can update review after first use ...

Seller won’t honor warranty. Heating element corroded within months. Mind you equipment meant to withstand heat and humidity did no last. Filed warranty claim on time, seller put burden on me arguing elements need to be clean every 3 months. But was ready to sell me new elements for $400 REALLY?!? water heaters with heating elements last 15+ years. This thing barely made it 10months. And no customer is about to pull machine apart to clean elements. All corroded, one blew up, wires outside also corroded. Filed every complain I could tru Amazon. No luck! Seller refuse to help. Finally Amazon put me in touch with actual manufacture who honor warranty on the spot. Stay away from this seller.

I purchased this unit to help out a friend with poor health. Turns out the health was poorer than we thought. I eventually returned the unit [which was on time and well packed] to the manufacture. It was returned out of their "return date" and they [Amazon and the Manufacturer] were more than helpful and I received my full refund. Seriously! How's that for EXCELLENT customer service! I will be remodeling a bathroom in my basement next year sometime, guess where I am going to purchase this unit from [for me!]?

It took waiting a few moths to remodel my shower and install this unit, but it was very worth it. The steam unit over all is very quite. The unit is installed in the attic above my mater bath, when the unit turns on you can hear it filling with water. Of course the steam coming out makes a little noise but nothing too loud. The quality of the steam is very nice and it heats up very well. I like the 2 controllers, it's nice to have control from inside the shower.
