Nice long handle makes it easy on your back. It worked well as both an ice chipper and scraper on sidewalks.

Had 2 to 3 inches of ice on my driveway after it snowed I didn't get is shoved right away and it get got rock hard and turned into ice. This January it stayed below freezing for weeks. Item arrived quickly and worked great, and easily broke it up. Going to use it in the spring in my garden.

We love this ice chipper! The weight, a little or 5 pounds, is so much better to use compared to the box store chippers. Very comfortable to use and has a bit of a shock absorber action. Highly recommend it! It has a name: Pile Driver!

Because it’s steel and a little heavier, it chops through the ice much easier and does a great job.

The shock absorber is great. The tool is sturdy and works well. I'm glad to have gotten it.Sole issue: I'm only 5'10" and I'm too tall to easily SCRAPE ice. It does scrape quite well, but but I have to bend too much for my ( and my back's ) comfort.
