I got these work boots for my husband without expecting much, but they really surprised me. The leather smells great, and they look solid,Super Durable: Steel toe, thick leather, and a tough rubber sole.Great Grip & Water-Resistant: No slipping, even on wet or greasy floors. Feet stay dry, too. Comfy: Soft insoles keep his feet from getting sore, even after a long day. A Bit Heavy: Around 900g per boot, but that’s normal for solid work boots.Overall, these are a great buy—safe, comfy, and built to last. Totally worth it!

I've been wearing these for about a week now. I've worn steel toes everything for about two decades since it makes a LOT of things easier, at home and on job sites. Right out of the box, I can tell you these didn't need a break in period, and there was ample room for my toes. They didn't feel squished, which I love. I normally would order size 13, but figured I'd go a size up and am glad I did. They grip the back of my foot, heel, and ankle perfectly providing stability while still giving me room at the front of my foot. I can see how size 13 would have worked too, but am over the moon at these in size 14.In terms of build quality? Again, amazing. You can feel and smell that these are real leather, and the double stitching on the seams is a huge plus in attention to detail and durability. The entire outer shell being leather, and not some "lower half is just cheap rubber" is also really nice. The insole for the shoe also is heavily stitched and appears to be riveted as well, which, honestly? I have even had timerlands that don't put THAT much attention to detail and quality into their boots. In ending, I can't find any downsides with these. And I'm someone that has returned a pair of red wings for not liking them (comfort) and a pair of doc martins for being below the quality I'd expect from the brand. As work boots, these are legitimatley as good as it gets at this price point, and for the quality and comfort they provide, they easily rival even my good pair of red wings at quadruple the price.

Rarely does an item I order be so good and have so much attention to detail that I dread having to write the review this is one of those rare cases. For this price point these boots are insanely good with an insane amount of attention to detail.**Background:**. For work and personal safety around the house, I wear steel toe for the last 30 years. I've worn red wings Timberland.**Build Quality:** I was kind of apprehensive about ordering these because at this price point I wasn't expecting much at the time of the order is for $70. (spoiler alert these competing in class way above that.Leather: Leather is really high-quality. You can just smell it and feel it. It's the kind of leather I would expect from about two or three times this price and even then I would be happy. The amount of leather is also generous. The outside of the boot is completely leather, other than two reflective strips on the heel. The Pull tab, Inside at the bottom of the hill is also more leather. Softer suede softer leather in lower part for Tonge for comfort. The color is rich and deep. Thick leather midsole. The insole bed is also leather. This insole bed is stitched and riveted. You don't see that kind of detail on a boot at this price ever even the next price up. Collar is real leather and thick and comfy.Stitching: call the stitching is either double or triple stitching stitching is clean no loose loops. It's very tight. There's also stitching between the soul and the upper that is single stitch, but it's also a much thicker thread.Hardware: Lace, hook and eyelids are both quality riveted to the leather and aren't going anywhere. If I can knock something, I would say that the laces don't feel premium like the rest of the boot, but that obviously is easily replaceable.Outsole: the Outsole is a good balance of graininess liability and a medium aggressive tread pattern. It claims to be oil resistant acid resistant and slip resistant. I'm not gonna dip this acid nor soak it in oil, but it definitely has that oil resistant kind of feel a little softer. The removable insoles are also of good quality foam. It's got ventilation holes on the 4 foot. It's got nice padding on the heel. It feels similar to poron foam. I prefer a little stiffer but I also wear carbon fiber orthotics.often.Looks: with the premium stitching and premium leather, these are good looking boots. The shape is a little clunky, but these are steel toe boots come on.weight and feel: these are heavy boots. With the amount of leather, the steel toe the thick out sole these are heavy. Size 13 1029 grams 36.3 oz. per boot. Also, the boot is on the stiff side and is not surprising with the amount of thick leather and that will soften overtime. However, there are surprisingly good flex right at the mid foot. So when you're on your knees at a job, these will be comfortable and only get more comfortable as a leather softensSizing: sizing is always tricky for me and the majority of time I'm a 12 1/2 but I've been transitioning to natural foot shaped shoes which are much wider in my feet have expanded and I sometimes wear 13. Because these are steel toe, I didn't want him to take chances of being too tight and I went with the 13 and that was probably a mistake. I have a narrow heel, but a wide forefoot (think duck feet). Even though these are 13, they're surprisingly wider than I would even expect normal 13s to be. Particularly in a toe box. The length is also longer than a typical 13. I took out a couple of insoles from my other size 13 shoes in these were a little bit longer. Even though these were more roomy than I like, I was amazed that once I laced up and went for a long walk in these, there is no heel slippage. I think the collar holds your ankle well and then they have that leather little strip in the back towards the heel.Performance: please feel good on your feet the leather conforms once you lace it up the collar lecture ankle in without being restrictive or stiff. They've got a mid foot flex point that feels good so when you get on your knees or climbing on slope like a roof you feel like you have good contact with the surface. However, I guess this has a steel shank because towards the heel it is very stiff, which is actually good and supportive for work that you're on your feet all day.Walking in these is comfortable as far as cushion and support however, they are heavy. But I would rather have the thickness and robustness and protection when I am working.**Conclusions:** these boots are an easy five star for me. I'm pretty picky about my boots and whenever I go to a retail store I spend a lot of time looking pretty much at everything. I'm not willing to spend insane amount of money, but I definitely drop $-150-250 on a pair of boots. I have never seen boots of this quality anywhere near this price point. These are rugged, comfortable well made workboots. Would I go for a hike in them, No.These are an easy five star all day every day. I can't report in the durability yet, but if you start to fall apart, which I would be shocked based on the materials and construction, I will update this review.

These boots are excellent! They are of the absolute highest quality. I tend to wear a ridiculously large size, but these seem to run fairly true-to-size. Right out of the box, they feel quite good on. I will say that if one were planning to wear them outdoors in the dead of Winter, in a very cold climate like mine (way below zero many Winter days) and should you want to wear two pair of socks or an extra heavy over-sized wool-type sock, you may want to size up a size.I would not mind having mine about one-half size larger myself, however I do believe that in wearing them with normal socks, I should be fine, as I tend to dislike the feel of heavier socks on my feet. These are good heavy, extremely well-built leather boots. that appear to be incredibly solidly built. While they are new, I would surmise (prematurely of course) that these seem structurally as though they will stand up very well to the heaviest of use. Before wearing them outdoors, I am definitely planning to add at least two layers of waterproofing to them, though I do believe that they have a type of waterproofing on them already, based upon my personal close-up inspection. If you are looking for a nice-looking heavy-duty, well-constructed workbook, I do not feel that one need look any further. These are steel-toed, and the leather is most substantial. The leather is nicely finished, the seams seem well aligned and of thoroughly heavy thread. I have been inspecting them very closely and every aspect from soles to the top of the boot seems to confirm my view of a very handsome, well-constructed pair of boots that one is able to depend upon for a good many years if they are taken care of properly. I definitely give this pair of steel-toed work boots my highest of recommendations!

So far so good. I bought them because they were "on sale" but for $60 they seem to be decent.

These are cheap boots that seem OK and look like they are decently well made. Time will tell. The fit seems wide to me. Adjust your expectations to what you are paying for.
