I could not release terminals. Could do as well with dental tools.

Have had other terminal tool kits for years. Finally broke down and bought one that took up more space, but has handles for every terminal tool. No more stabbing yourself with the other side of the terminal tool! Yes! Very inexpensive and I would recommend them over the el-cheapo ones.

I removed about 30% of the wiring loom of my race car using these.Of course you can just cut a wire flush at the connector and no one will know the difference.Well I would have known the difference. And I made mistakes by removing the wrong wire. I was very happy to have that wire removed with the connector to push it back in it's place. No hassle. This kit is complete even though it is not professional grade. As a DIY it will last me a lifetime and that's all I need. Highly recommended for automotive wiring work.

It’s very easy to use, painless.Need a little bit of practice and knowledge of how the connectors attaches to the housing but, after a couple of minutes looking on google you easily achieve the disassemble task.

I don't know what this is for or how to use it, but it was on my husbands wish list so I got it for his birthday. When he opened the box he was excited. He said it was just what he needed. He took some of them out and examined them and said it was perfect. He was very pleased with this set. He tried to explain to me how to use these tools, but it was a little over my head. Suffice it to say, this birthday present was a big hit.

After trying the Lisle kit, this thing is pretty good. At least I found the correct size and was able to disassemble some connectors. There are still some terminals that are so mysterious I can't find the right tool to release them. Don't know if they're not in this kit or if I just haven't learned the secret. Could be both or neither.

I tend to be a Snap-on tool junkie, and have been for over 20 years. However, Snap-on is in the dark ages as far as connector release tools go. They've offered the same old release kit forever, and cars haven't used those types of connectors in over 20 years. Anyway, I had a mid-90's Ferrari in my shop for a pretty extensive job, and needed to do some wiring work. After a bunch of searching, I came across this kit, and it was exactly what I needed. Tools seem to be well built and durable, without being big and clunky. Good stuff here.
