Utter junk, flimsy metal warped out of shape upon taking out of box, one leg couldn’t be opened as was jammed and part hanging off, very cheap product

Solid, strong versatile but the bottom of the feet needs pads to stop sinking in none solid platforms like dirt. Will make adjustment to design easy enough.

I was amazed how easy and sturdy they were

These sawhorses are great. Very compact, yet easily expanded for use. Very easy to adjust to varying heights. And they are very sturdy. These were the first horses I had seen in this style, so at the time, the price felt right. I have since seen other brands out there cheaper, but I can’t attest to their durability.

To help support large projects.I found 2 issues: 1 - It would have been nice if the feet had rubber or hard plastic bottoms.2 - Is a shipping issue, the box must have been dropped on one end, causing one Sid of the leg to slid down, breaking off the tab that was meant to stop the leg from sliding too far. Once this happened, I was unable to easily open the legs for use. After 10 minutes, I got it open. But then I had to reattach the stopping tabs, glue and bigger screws. Luckily I’m a repairman. I suspect not everyone would be capable.I suggest something to keep the legs from moving during shipping, cardboard would be best.Thx, Jim

Package appeared to have been opened before. Styrofoam blocks were already broken. Loose screws in bottom of box. When I tried to use them I could not get one leg on either unit to unfold. Could hear other small parts rattling aroundinside in each unit- more screws maybe ??? Returned for refund!!!

I do like that these sawhorses are adjustable. And they seem sturdy. If you ever want to use sawhorses anywhere but your flat driveway or garage, you'll probably appreciate the ability to adjust to uneven terrain. That said, I do have some concerns:1. Packing Issue - I couldn't open the saw horses when they first arrived. One of the adjustable legs had slipped loose in transit and locked me from pulling out the legs. I later found loose hardware in the bottom of the box. Turns out a bracket had come off. This bracket prevents the legs from "self adjusting" when the horses are folder. I also found a rivet that had broken. I was able to put the bracket back on and was able to put a metal screw in where the rivet came out. I did work in a couple screw drivers and finally forced the leg to come out - without breaking anything.2. Fiddly - It's a bit tricky to open and close the legs. You can't just pull them open, you have to press in a button. This is important since you don't want the legs popping out when you're carrying. But the button to open can be a bit of a pain. You might have to wiggle it to get it out. When closing, the legs don't cleanly tuck inside the horse unless you carefully guide them back in. Then that darn button has to be re-pressed to get them in. Once tucked in, you have to be sure the button locks back in so the legs don't open when you pick them up. The only way I could do this successfully was to basically drop the horse until it clicked back in. Before I discovered this, the legs opened and smacked me in the leg while I was carrying it.3. Spiky Feet - The legs come to a fairly sharp point at the bottom. I think this is good if you are using outside in the dirt where they need to dig in. However, if you plan to set up on your nice wood floor while you work inside, you might want to think twice.4. Heavy Duty - Aside from my concerns about the loose parts and fiddly legs, these do appear to be quite strong. I also like that you can add a couple 2x4s and a piece of plywood and you can make a very sturdy job site table.I wouldn't buy these again, but I'm not concerned enough to return them. Do some research and see if these are right for you.

Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. These are amazing. They set up so easily and are amazingly sturdy. Break down is just as quick and easy. I have been using these to process pallet wood. They get beat on and slammed and prayed on and loaded up and they have stood the test. Even the foam bumpers on the top are not showing wear yet (so far just pallet wood but plenty of nails and staples) I suspect these will last me a long time. Very pleased

First off, for that 1 star rating that claims we are paid reviews, that is the true imposter here. I am not paid, just wanted some adjustable sawhorses for uneven ground.I bought the PROTOCOL Equipment SH-042 Work Shop Adjustable Sawhorse, Set of 2.They are great! The one bad review that had all these issues must have gotten a damaged one or had no idea how to set it up.There are huge numbers to tell you what to open first, then second. Easy. Then you lock the legs out. Easy. Then you adjust the height. EASY!!! All done!!!The best thing is the height adjustment so if you are working on sloped or uneven ground you can adjust the height to make a balance and even planed work area. NICE!!!!All for around $120. WOW. That is great. And they have holes if you want to screw in a 2x4 on top.Awesomeness for the adjustability, easy, strength and compactness!!!

First of all, if the legs don't open. The ones that fold in first probably extended in shipping. Simply release the latch with a screw driver, and shorten the leg.The saw horses came in, and I put them under my truck camper. The spot that I store it in is not perfectly level, so the adjustable legs are perfect. I have them adjusted in hieght, so I can lift it up a little and pull the sawhorses out, then back the truck under it. I plan on storing it at truck bed height, 32". So I can just quickly back under it, for quick camping trip. And store it on the lowest hieght during the winter months. I have hydrolic jacks, and it can take at least an hour to lift it from the lowest hieght, to be high enough to load it up.I put the 2x4s running length wise. They seem to add to the stability of them. Some friends came over yesterday. So I took them to see the camper. We had 4 adults, and a toddler in it. With little to no movement.I can lift the front up to store it, and lower it down we want to hang out in it, in just a few seconds.Because they are fairly light, and very compact, I can take them with me.** Be sure camper doesn't exceed the weight capacity of the saw horses. **
