Not had much luck with this. The fan is low and the light level isn’t off putting. Designs is a little clunky since it needs to sit on a counter instead of on the wall. Noise level isn’t noticeable at all. But, overall functionality is poor, as it didn’t attract many gnats.

I purchased this to try to catch fruit wise. While it did not catch any fruit flies, it did an excellent job of catching all of the larger flying pests. It had flies as well as crane flies.

This fan/bug catcher takes up a lot of space and seems inefficient compared to the normal plug in bug catchers with a light/sticky pad. This is essentially the same but with the fan, and it takes up way more space and makes a bit of noise. I’m having a hard time finding a good spot to put it that isn’t in the way, and I’m not sure if it’s even as effective as the exposed nightlight style bug traps.

We struggle with flies every Summer. I took a chance on the Stem trap and it works! We now have 8 of them inside and outside. Combined with a couple outside fly traps, we have virtually no flies.

Ok these are pretty great. It’s Texas rainy season so the fruit flies are back as they do every year. The price is a little high for what it is. The air flow is quite weak but I guess it doesn’t need to be much for fruit flies. In the image, that was only 2 days. We also have the zevo outlet ones but they stopped being effective (not quite sure why…). We use the liquid traps as well which are worthless. These are kind of our saving grace. It’s quiet which is nice. The purple light is quite bright in the dark so pairs as an extra light source without having to turn on the lights. Would buy again.

Im testing it now. Hopefully it works. Just know 2 things. This has a USB adapter plug. I thought it had a regular plug. I bought two different brands and the quality is much less than I expected. Very thin cheap plastic that would break easily. Light as a feather. I gave it 3 stars because of the quality & deceiving description. If it works well, Ill increase to 4 stars.
