The idler wheels went in like a charm, did not have to do anything special. They idler wheels run smooth and they should last and last. Great material and the size was correct.

This pulley survived the 2021 mowing season here in the North East up till the first snow fall. Here I am starting the 2022 season and everything seems good and the first mowing of the season everything is working great.

Pricey, but great replacement, I could not find another exact replacement anywhere. This is described as plastic in the description, but it is steel, with sealed bearing. I used this on a Troy-Bilt 48" deck (older model), I've mowed a few acres, and no problems.

This will not fit a troy-bilt riding mower the 956-04129 is the one you need this idler pulley will not line up with your other pulley.
