When I searched for parts to replace a broken connecting rod for my 10hp engine, this part showed up. It did not fit and I ended up wasting a lot of time trying to find a replacement. Eventually, I found a piston assembly that contains the correct connecting rod. I'm posting this to let others know that the search engine on Amazon is not sufficient for finding the right parts for you engine. My mistake for being so assuming without doing my homework.

I now have a running Tecumseh engine! This part fit without any issues. There are a few variations of this type of connecting rod so make sure you order the correct one.
