My mower has under 100 hours, it was suffering from lack of power under a load, it idled fine, as soon as I would engage the blades and start to mow it would fall on it's face, I put it in the shop, when I got it back it ran okay once. I purchased these coils, installed them and that fixed my issue. I have mowed 6 times since I put them in. No problems at all.

One day I was mowing with my Cub Cadet ZT1 54 (w/Kohler 24hp kt735-725) and suddenly experienced a huge loss of power (although it still ran). Could smell unburnt fuel coming out of the exhaust and used way more fuel to finish the mowing. Did some troubleshooting and isolated the issue to one of the ignition coils. Did some research and found this one. It was exactly what I needed and got my mower up and running again quick. Install was pretty straight forward.

Fixed the problem, and works great. My mower is running good as new.Be sure that you leave a gap between the module and the rotating magnet. A business card works great to set the gap. Consult the engine manual for the full procedure.
