Perfect fit and replacement for 1978 Wheel Horse C-81 with 36 rear discharge deck. The original spindle bearings were shot and every time I turned on the mowing deck the whole neighborhood could hear it. I found a YouTuber called RC Flashlight and he recommended these and I’m glad I found them. Now it’s super quiet and cuts perfect like it should! Only downside is they are still sealed with no zerk fitting, so you’d have to disassemble the spindle and pack them with grease if you want to lube them up in the future. Just like the original but I wish this change was made somehow.

No grease fitting, I've went through 3 of these in the past 3 years and I don't like having to tear my deck apart every year. It is always the spindle bearing from the deck that is connected to the engine. I've tried tensioning it down and still know help. I don't think the bearing is well equipped for a side load and not being able to grease it dose not help!

This part is no longer carried by Toro due to my riding mower being 40 years old. This was a perfect replacement and was easy to install.
