Came with no tool tray! So they shipped me another! Well built, seems sturdy. Holds a ton of tools. I’d buy it again!

We like this product for several reasons. The capacity fits all of our household tools well. The box is made of durable material that allows it to be a small step stool for getting into low shelves. The shape helps in storing it out of the way in an over-full closet. The only improvement I would suggest is the possibility of a second shelf that would fit below the existing one.

I was in a Publix parking lot heading to my car and saw a woman carrying one of these toward the store. I stopped her and asked her about the box she was carrying. She was heading into the grocery to do some work. She was some kind of tradesman. She said she had this box for about 10 years and it was sturdy and worked fine. The hinges and carrying handle and the closing clasp had worked faithfully for all those years. I felt so good about our conversation that when I got into my car, I immediately pulled up Amazon on my phone, found this toolbox/stool/step, and ordered it. It came in a few days. It is sturdily made. You can put tools or cleaning supplies in the deep storage compartment. You can sit on the stool for doing low work, but you can also step on & stand on it to help change a light bulb, or reach something on a high shelf. This is a great tool to have.

I needed a riding helmet hat box and saw this in my search. Thought I’d try it since I needed a step up in my trailer and would be great for it to have the 2 functions. My hat fits perfectly with even some extra room. Really sturdy as well. Definitely recommend.

These are used and abused at my job, bonus that they're made in USA cuz we love to buy things that may help a fellow American, BUT... these are nice enough that I'd buy it for my wife no matter where it was made.This will replace a cheap stepladder that I don't trust plus it has a nice tray with storage below.Considering the use they get at work and the condition they're still in; I expect ours will outlast us and be fought over by the kids when we're gone.They have a green version also.Wanted to add that there's just something different about good plastic. It's strong but not brittle. I'm not a plastic expert so I can't explain it but these will take a hit and not shatter. Anyway, if you're looking for a step-n-store that will probably last a lifetime, this is the one for you.

I am very pleased with the sturdiness of this toolbox. It is larger than a standard one-step folding step stool which makes for a very solid base to stand on. It is also a little taller so for my being vertically challenged this is also an added benefit. Love that it has a two in one purpose for those with limited living space.My one concern is I hope the plastic hinges on the backside will have the desired durability the rest of the stepstool/toolbox seems to have. For the price paid I will be extremely disappointed if the hinges fail at any point.My improvement suggestions to the manufacturer would be to beef up the hinges on the back by not using plastic and although the plastic handle seems sturdy maybe also consider making the handle metal...but that would only be if it doesn't stand up to the test of time. Also, this may seem odd but I would rather there was a solid cover on the underside of all the edges and feet so spiders couldn't nest in all the little underside cubby holes, making it easier to keep clean...if not the feet, then at least the edges.

Perfect for easy access to most often used household tools, and tough as the nails that go in it! The step stool is sturdy with zero wobble, and the perfect height for high shelf access and changing lightbulbs - which are easily kept inside. I have a pro sized tool box in the garage, but use the step n stool ten times more. Very convenient.
