Note that this is only a single eyepiece, so you'll need to buy two for a stereo microscope. Also note that it won't fit most non-stereo microscopics or trinocular head on a microscope (at least it won't fit mine without an adapter). I was a little disappointed it didn't come with a little plastic eyepiece tube or cover, but given its use case as one-half of a permanently-installed stereo-microscope pair, this isn't all that surprising. One interesting note is that 30mm is slightly smaller than a 1.25" telescope eyepiece, but this still fits nicely in most of mine. It comes to focus as well, and actually is quite decent for this purpose. I expect that this partly is because it is wide-field. At higher magnifications, the slight off-centeredness relative to the focal path (due to its being slightly smaller than 1.25") probably be noticeable. Anyway, a cool off-purpose use. Given my expectations at this price point, I give it five-stars.
