I picked this out and my mother got it for me as a gift about a year. I loved it. I still only wore it 4 or 5 times because I just don't wear jewelry often. I didn't wear it for awhile and when I got it out of my jewelry box today the chain and the "sterling silver" framing the ukulele was completely turned to a very ugly dark color. This is so pretty at first but it is junk.

I love this pretty pendant. It is already my go-to necklace. The abalone is colorful, in a subtle way. I even like the chain, though it is a bit challenging to close, given the tiny closure pieces. Perfect for uke enthusiasts, of which I am now one! High quality at a great price.

The pendant was a gift for my wife and she really likes it!It seems like very good quality craftsmanship, being formed and fitted together well, and the materials appear top notch.A nice surprise is the back: The abalone is not just an inset piece with a silver back and perimeter. The abalone is a solid thick piece. Flip it over and you see abalone on the back. The abalone is very nice, iridescent, colorful, and shiny.The size of the pendant met my expectations and was consistent with the product description on Amazon.The black box and the black pouch are also very nice. They're not throw-aways.I will be looking at buying more from Hawaiian Silver Jewelry.
