I build parts-casters with custom necks. No tuner holes are the same. Conversion pegs are the answer.

Same as most of you that are ordering these, I bought vintage style tuners but my neck has modern style holes. The bushings are great, I’m giving them 5 stars because they are not flawed. I put them in very carefully with a squeeze clamp and rubber hammer because they were quite tight. I read in another review someone had done that with positive results. There are 10mm and 10.5mm conversion bushings, the 10.5 are slightly too big for my neck. I figured too big is better than too small, they’ll squeeze in there. I ordered them.20 minutes after install the head stock split in half. Don’t be lazy, measure your holes, figure it out exactly. I’m heartbroken that I ruined this neck. My mistake. Learn from it.

I tried other ones that claimed to fit, but they did not. These fit perfectly, but you need a clamp or some way of pushing them in, because they are a tight fit.

I saw someones review mentioning that these won’t work on a fender MIM player series strat.. This is a false statement, I fit these bushings flawlessly onto my player series strat. The bushings are a tapered 10.5mm and the holes of the player series headstock are just slightly narrower, my guess would be about 10mm. Although they are too snug to push in with bare hands, a little help from a handheld rubber clamp does the trick perfectly and very tightly. This is how the bushings are designed fit. Excellent product, very happy!

Used these to adapt a set of Grover 97-18na Sta-Tite tuners to a Taylor 114e. Perfect! The only thing that I had to do was to open up the holes slightly with a taper ream.

Just barely fits the Squirt Bullet tuner peg holes just enough to work with vintage tuners, could be a smidgeon tighter but works ok
