The slots are proportionally-spaced, using the same method as our String Spacing Rule. This means the strings feel right all across the neck—no crowding on the heavier bass strings.

If you're looking for the perfect bone nut for your Fender 7.25' neck then buy this one. It comes pre slotted and I only needed to sand the bottom and the side of the nut to fit it in the neck and that was it. Intonation is perfect and it really sounds good as well. No filing the slots was necessary. Unbelievable. I can definitely hear the difference in tone. I recommend this bone nut.
