Everything but the long metal Ally like how am I going to put together without the long metal piece kind of disappointed $33 down the drain.

May work for conversion kits. However, since I've built custom engine mounts and used an atv 47cc engine, the chain hardly aligns with the pully tensioner.

I needed to get spacers for the rollers cause it wasn't aligned properly.

This product really helped the chain not slip and holds up Well it’s easy to assemble. Overall, this is a very good product if you want to avoid chain slippage make sure it’s tight and It will be right

this is just great, can't say much more.leave a bit of slack on the chain and don't be an ape when tightening the nuts. I used lock washers but they probably aren't necessary.User error and just generally being more gorilla than homosapien is the reason for most low reviews.I'm a professional bicycle mechanic, every frame is different, you may need a longer bolt for the pulley but it was perfect for me.obviously you might need to cut one of the u bolts, just depends on the bike frame. if you have an engine you've already probably had to cut some metal. so I don't see that as anything negative, if anything is good that there's extra spacegreat product and a major upgrade to reliability

The arch itself is thick, sturdy, well-painted, and seems to me that it will last as long as the bike itself. The u-bolts, nuts, and ALL HARDWARE IS *GARBAGE*, as in COMPLETE TRASH. The u-bolts’ threads all stripped out on me with almost no torque whatsoever. The “locknuts” it came with all lost the thread lock butyl/rubber ring (the part that is supposed to “lock” the nut in place) and they all lost it within 4-5 turns before it even reached the base of the bolt. Almost like that ring was made of dried mashed potatoes and painted black. There is NOTHING about this hardware that will remotely hold anything in place while on a rattling motorized bicycle. If I hadn’t installed anything already, I would absolutely, most certainly be returning this bag full of cardboard-strength TRASH directly back to the junkyard in China where they must have harvested it from.I am serious, the threads on the u-bolts must have been made of melted tin foil. It’s such a joke. Please don’t waste your money on this crap. Now I have to go to an ace hardware and find quality hardware to replace this set of human excrement they sent me. A bike with an engine needs a nut that can take more than a single ounce of foot/pound torque. If you can, look for something that has hardware made in the USA instead of this set. It’s truly garbage, and this is my 9th motorized bicycle I’ve put together. I know what I’m talking about.Trash. Arch is sturdy, everything else is a waste of production effort.

Be prepared for a trip to the hardware store to buy better washers and a "Shoulder screw". I had to use a drill to widen the washers to fit the bolt.

I like this one a lot, nice and heavy duty & won't get into the wheels, I did had to shim out the pulley a lil but that's it, worth every penny..

This type of tensioner is the only kind I have been able to find that is safe for the 4 stroke kits. Like most things about motorized bikes, the parts don't fit perfectly and will need adjusting.Originally, plastic wheel had a wide spacer and the screw widened where there were no threads, keeping the plastic closer to the arch. This pulled my chain into rubbing the frame and out of alignment. I removed the spacer and had to file down the widening of the screw to allow for proper alignment. The washers were all the same size (one came with a flat side for some reason), but the screw for the plastic wheel is larger than the others. The center had to be enlarged with a 5/16 drill bit.Overall the quality of the arch was better than I expected, granted I didn’t have high expectations. I still recommend removing it once the chain has broken in and the correct amount of links are removed for proper tension.
