We got this to polish off our hallway and accent wall with fine details after a bit of a home makeover/upgrade and we knew going in that this would not look or feel like real wood trim so our expectations were on point. However, IF you take the time to clean the wall before applying the trim. Let it dry completely after cleaning. (For at least 20 minutes or so with good air circulation.) Then after application you apply a small amount of caulk at the top and bottom seams, nobody will ever know this is not wood. It looks perfect. Do not expect to just stick this up and not have to make any effort to finish it off for a perfect application. (As you would have to do with wood as well.) Now you CAN just stick it to the wall without doing all of that and it holds very well IF the wall is clean and dry before application, but a little extra effort with the caulking and you've got a professional look that will certainly make you very happy. The only benefit I can see in using this instead of actual wood trim is that no nail gun or tools of any kind are needed. Each piece is trimmed perfectly already, unless you want to make customizations in different sizes. You CAN paint over this trim and it looks like it was all done with traditional wood trim.We spent a full afternoon (about 6 hours) doing a 20 ft. hallway and another 18 ft. accent wall, to include painting everything after it was all up.I would recommend this product. It's a great solution for a quick, easy installation vs using wood trim. These are good quality, and I also really like that I can paint over them if I want to color drench the room. I did put up one frame as a tester, and it's still there almost a month later, so the adhesive is very decent. I haven't yet decided upon the spacing for the frames on the wall, and I'm looking at templates from period homes that feature these kinds of details before I commit to putting up the rest.The different sizes really add to making the wall a statement wall - but to go around a large room with a few more sets of these would really elevate the space.These are cheaper, quicker, and easier than using real wood trim, with the added benefit of the guesswork being taken out since all the corners are already pre-cut.I'd definitely order more when needed!

Lately, I've been exploring my creative side, especially in home decoration. My home is my sanctuary, and I want each space to reflect its beauty, all while staying within a budget. I bought some large wall prints from an expensive website and absolutely fell in love with them; however, they arrived without frames, and the frames cost between $180 and $$$. I discovered wall panel moldings and voilà, I found an affordable solution to my small but significant dilemma.Upon receiving the pre-cut wall panel molding, I painted them gold and let them dry. I prepared the wall surface by cleaning it and asked my husband to buy silicone adhesive. He gathered all the necessary tools for resizing the pieces and helped with the installation. The panels were lightweight, making them easy to handle and install single-handedly. The polystyrene material is known for its durability and resistance to moisture, making it suitable for various environments.After taking all the necessary measurements, we attached the wall prints to the wall and then placed one panel at a time around the prints, framing their large size. We fit three 32" x 48" prints on a single large wall, spacing them evenly. The transformation was astounding. The black and gold prints, encased in the gold-painted panels, screamed "Perfection!" I couldn't believe the change in the environment. It went from suitable to formidable—a night-and-day display of elegance and dominance that has become the focal point of our home. I still find myself stopping to admire the wall every time I walk past it. The project gave me a sense of empowerment and gratification, all at a small cost of time and a little money. It was well worth it.The entire transformation took us a full day, so planning for extra paint, if desired, and adhesive in advance is essential. I managed to create miracles with molding for a quarter of what I would have spent on three large frames. It was every bit worth it!

10/10.Crisp miter cuts, super easy. I nailed them up and used gorilla glue on the corners.
