I ordered this specifically because it is listed as using DMC thread, however that was not what was sent by the seller. DMC thread is the standard for quality embroidery floss which will not bleed when washed after all these hours invested into an embroidery or cross-stitching project. Otherwise everything else appears to be as listed and seems to be of good quality. This is a pre-printed kit, so just follow the colors and there is no counting involved. It's easier and faster than counted cross-stitch. Today there are lots of online videos to help any complete beginners who do not know anyone who could teach them. I am deducting two stars for listing DMC thread when it is not, and the seller should stop pretending to be using DMC thread.

I love foxes, and this is now my favorite fox-themed cross stitch kit. I can't wait to get started with it. I would prefer counted over stamped, but I think it will still yield a gorgeous finished item. The cloth is nice, and the colors match the photos. Everything needed is included.

I wish they would have put the backstitch on a different page.Overall: This looks like a fun cross stitch. The print on the canvas is pretty good but like I said above, I wish the instructions were just as good. The backstitch lines are coving a bunch of boxes so it makes it hard to see whats behind them. Other than that, I can’t wait to see how this little guy turns out.

This is a super cute design that is not big, so it’s not overwhelming at all. However, this probably isn’t a beginner project due to the very minimalist instructions that it has. If you’ve never done cross stitch before, this could be confusing. The project does come with everything you need, canvas, numbered thread, needles. I just wish the instructions were more detailed. As it is, I will need to go find a few online tutorials to clarify some things. Not a big deal for me as I’m used to searching out whatever info I need, but it might be for some purchasers.This is a pre-printed fabric so you wash it AFTER your embroidery is done. Don’t get it wet before you’re finished with the project or you’ll lose your pattern.
