I never knew I needed this until I newly installed fan was squeaking. Then we realized that weights were made to help balance the fan to make the squeaking stop. It absolutely works and really easy to put the little weights on.

i had a fairly wobbly fan i needed to balance until i could get around to remounting and stabilizing the fan better. These worked great on getting the fan balanced better.
