As advertised, fit my Rubbermaid stock tank with no issues. I was glad to find an easy replacement piece when the original cap went missing. Cannot differentiate from the original—I would not hesitate to order again if I needed another one for some reason.

Great way to a drain to your stock tank. I have a 40 gallon tank that my goats and livestock guardians drink from. It is a smaller tank and not terrible to dump out when I need to clean or change the water. But I have hurt my back and chores still have to be done. I added this to the tank to make it easier for me to change the water. Also in the winter time I can swap it out with a cool tank de-icer I found on amazon. Install was easy with a hole saw. The directions say to just hand tighten the nut with the gasket and I can confirm that it doesn't need to be super tight to keep the water in. My tank has a few raised rings that go around it and the gasket does great at sealing the drain.
