The chair is very sturdy and my baby can sleep in the infant mount. I took a star away because of how difficult it is to assemble it. Later down the line, we would need to adjust the seat and leg rest and it will be a hassle to move. Also, it comes with a mobile hanging hook but it's too low.

This is a simple but very useful chair and docking station for a baby. We bought it for our newborn grandson. It keeps him at table height so he can be with the family. It also keeps him safe from toddler sister.

I wanted this high chair to work so badly. I loved the option for the infant insert and the overall esthetic. Unfortunately this chair is unreasonably short at only 36” tall. We need something taller to work for us. Sadly had to return and look for other options. PSA to others to measure the height of your table and compare. Just because it’s called a high chair doesn’t means it high enough.

Happy with the actual product but for the amount of money I spent on this thing... I wish it wouldn't have gotten ugly dents in it while being shipped to me. You can tell the wood is all pushed in and dented from being in the package.

This Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair 2, Natural with Newborn Set is really solid! When I saw it is rated to 300 lbs I doubted, but after putting it together and using it, I believe it. I even sat my 230 lb butt on it and it feels more solid than our kitchen chairs. We picked this up for our toddler to be able to sit at the right height at our kitchen table, so I have not used the newborn set at all. Assembly wasn't difficult but the instructions were only pictures. Be aware that to adjust the seat height you have to loosen the screws; this shouldn't be an issue as this is what allows it to be so solid.Both our toddlers love this new seat. It slides easily across the floor on it's built in plastic feet. It puts our oldest at just the right height for our table. As she grows, it'll be easy to adjust to keep her there. Also, cleanup is easy as it's all wood with only the seatback being plastic. I hadn't heard of Tripp Trapp, but when but my wife said we had to have it. I'm definitely impressed and understand the attention this brand gets.

This is the best high chair for a newborn! The newborn attachment is a game changer. It's easy to attach and is very strong. It's perfect for dinner time and dinner prep as you can keep your newborn close to you. The chair itself is easy to assemble and looks great. The harnesses are easy to use and my kid love sitting in it!

The product is well made however it is NOT a high chair for counter hight. I should have measured it before purchasing but it it too short to use with a kitchen island. Good for dinning room table though.
