Please clean it before use
Please clean it before use, especially the cutting hole and core hole. This product is usually used with rice that has been soaked in water for more than 6 hours. Please add the water and rice with a spoon. Remember to turn it counterclockwise. Please do not eat the first ground rice pulp ( Chinese call it kaimo).
This product should not be used to grind anything too hard
This product should not be used to grind anything too hard. Oily grains need water to be ground, for a better grinding effect, you can grind it a few times first or soak the beans in advance. Please turn the grinding disc counter clockwise.

It is a pretty piece of craftmanship. The problem is after 5 hours of grinding I only had 2 cups of flour . I lost count of how many times I had to regrind it because it wasn't fine enough to go through the sifter yet . I would not recommend this product if your trying for a fine flour. If you are okay with a very coarse gritty flour this will work for you . I tried a variety of grains and same result with all of them . Although it will work or a fine flour be prepared to spend a whole day for very little yield. It is very pretty though so it will just go on the shelf for a knick knack .
