I used it for the first time yesterday the one that I had already to wrap cdc on my fly. That is that I used two other hackle pliers that one of them is way more expensive and from very famous European tool maker which did not work. That’s why I ordered the second one.

I've tied flies for a half a century. This is my favorite hackle plier. grips the feather well without damaging it and so easy to wind. Great plier at a great price.

These pliers hold materials securely and are the perfect weight. I tie a lot of smaller flies and they are perfectly suited for it.

Like that they are small and esey to hold but they don't hold the Hackle very well.

I was hoping these would be better but you get what you pay for. The quality of these is very poor. Yes they hold materials, hence 2 stars and not one, but they’re very flimsy. Jaws want to move laterally left or right when under pressure. This isn’t the first Stonfo product I’ve been disappointed in.

Best hackle pliers I have used. Has a rubber pad on one of the grips to keep things from slipping. Well made and effective.
