We just had gotten a new Andersen storm door and the day after the wind caught it and ripped the jamb bracket? (the triangular piece), unfortunately there's not much you can do but replace it every time this happens. I first ordered one from the company and then this one. This one was a much better value! Trying to be more careful so the wind doesn't catch the door, as there is no place to install a chain, with the roll-up screen. Our old door was more resilient, but ugly, will be buying this again!

We've all got some sort of door-closer, tensioner, or spring. The brackets they come with... well.. they suck. These are a far superior and much higher durability replacement for the ones that come standard. Highly recommend
