What you see in the product information area differs greatly from what you receive. The product is too slim to accomplish what you're looking for; sounding proofing your vehicle's interior. The video shows a wide rubber strip, but when you receive the product it's very skinny. Not happy, I will be returning this item.

I received this Storystore Car Door Weather Stripping through the Amazon Vine program, and I’m really impressed. The L-shaped design provides good sealing and soundproofing, and the thick rubber material feels durable and flexible.Installation was simple—just peel and stick, with strong adhesive that holds well. At $15 for 40 feet, it’s an excellent value, offering plenty of material for multiple applications.

Review of ”Storystore 39.3 Ft Car Door Weather Stripping, Self Adhesive Soundproofing...":(Please refer to my reviewing guidelines at the bottom of the page).We live on our 52' Trawler 100% of the time and anchor out and travel 99.99% of the time. We use weather seal like this in a number of areas on the boat from doors and windows to making water dams for proper rain runoff. This is a very nice weather stripping that has excellent adhesive and is very flexible and easy to install. It compresses and springs back to shape well and should last a good long time before needing replacement.I've done a bit of market research on Amazon for this specific type of product and find that the current price of $15 for 39' (38 cents per foot) is fairly priced for the market. Of course, like nearly everything, you can get a better price per foot by purchasing longer lengths. For example, this stripping drops to 26 cents per foot when purchasing the 92' length, so check with your friends and family if they need any and you can both save by purchasing a longer length.My responsibility as an Amazon Vine Reviewer:Considering the Amazon rules/regulations for being a Vine Member It is obvious that it is very important to Amazon that the person doing the review has indeed inspected, tested, used the product as well as being aware of the competitive situation of the market segment. Item is good for windows or door to seal drafts. Long roll allows you to measure and cut to size needed. Since this comes in one long roll you can easily use on large spaces like bay windows. Just peel off red tape liner and stick. Tackiness of adhesive is good.

Perfect solution to my ATV storage box. I have one of those plastic molded seat storage boxes that does not stay air tight, so when riding the dusty roads / trails, the entire inside and any contents would be dust covered. I did not want to use those cheap foam style window insulation weather stripping because it would not hold up to the abuse that the vibration causes on the back of an ATV. I liked the low profile and pliability of this rubberized style stripping, I am not convinced that the adhesive will stay in place because of the conditions this will be under, but if it starts to peel up, I will just add a small thin layer of caulking to glue it in place. Also for the price per ft at the time of this review is pretty good.

Very nice weatherstripping, the peel and stick adhesive seems to be good quality but I added some black 3M weatherstrip adhesive for good measure. This sealed the doors on a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 and eliminated leaves from getting caught in the doorjam.

My old truck has air noise at the top of the door and I got this to seal the gap to stop the noise. It is an abundant amount of seal at 39' long. It's "L" shaped with compression hollows inside. A bead of adhesive is included on one side making this peel and stick. I also have a storm door that has an air gap along one side and I applied a strip on the door frame as well. Seems to be holding well so far. Good buy.
