Oh, wow, this is better than the poncho liners we were issued in the Marines. It has the nylon material on one side and fleece on the other. It's thick! I've seen some generic liners that were basically two pieces of nylon sewn together, with a very thin batting between. This baby is HEAVY, has 550 cord looped across each corner, so you can tie it to something. Spread out, it easily can be used as a quilt for a twin bed, and even comes with a small, nylon carrying sack for storing.Very pleased with it.

Got this for my emergency go bag. It's lightweight to wear and definitely waterproof. Once rolled up, it's easy to store and transport. The drawstring pouch is great for carrying it. We got this to use when going out in to sporting events, bonfires on New Year's Eve, beach, picnics, camping, etc. Anywhere where you might want the warmth of a blanket without worrying about your blanket becoming a heavy, soggy mess if it rains. Highly recommend it!
