The mount that came with my Cateye wireless unit had a kind of nut that you turned to tighten the strap on the handlebar. Well, the nut came off and the unit was just barely hanging on. This replacement is attached with zip ties that come in the package. It won't be coming loose unless I cut the zip ties. BTW, the package also has a rubber band type thing to mount the unit to the handlebar stem. The instructions (photos only) indicate using that for the handlebar installation as an option, but there is actually no way I could figure out to make that work. No worries though, I think the zip ties are the best solution.

I bought this as a least cost alternative to mount my Cateye computer on my tri bike and could not be happier. The strong rubber band is the perfect solution for securely attaching the mount; it has not moved over some fairly bumpy roads at relatively high speed.
