I like the Strathmore brand and wanted a spiral book to replace one I had before, unfortunately I found out that the "Sketch" paper is much lighter in weight than the "Drawing" paper. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew the paper was this thin. It's fine for thumbnails and quick sketches, but if you want to keep any of your work, buy the "Drawing" paper.

This is the perfect size to carry with me almost all of the time. The paper is top notch as expected from Strathmore. I will be purchasing another when this is full.

This sketchbook is great for dry media, as I feel the paper is not thick enough for wet media. It is not heavy, and the sheets are perforated for easy tearing. The back of the sketchbook is quite sturdy and won't bend while using it. Good size and easy for carrying around.Makes for a great gift too. Highly recommend!

I love sketching and strathmore is a trusty go to paper brand. This would be a great gift for anyone who sketches. This size is easy to travel with and has plenty of paper so I usually hang on to them for a decent amount of time so I'd consider it a great value for the money. The thickness is lightweight but great for pencils, pastels, pens, and markers that don't bleed through like water-based ones.
