Product Description

Need a comfortable waistband? Stretchrite Woven Polyester Elastic has your back (and your waist). This flat, non-roll elastic is designed to be used in casings or sewn directly to fabric, the shrink-resistant elastic holds its shape when stretched and is perfect for mid to heavyweight items. It won’t weaken over time, and our customers love using this product on pants, pajamas, shorts, slacks or shirts.

We don’t want to say it’s “Just what you’re looking for in a comfortable waistband,” but, actually we do because that’s what our customers say in their reviews.

A Customer Favorite for Waistbands

Not only can Stretchrite woven elastic be used in casings, but it can be sewn directly into waistbands in pants, shorts, slacks, shirts and even puffy skirts. It's also a top choice for craft projects.

Strong & Versatile Design

The reinforced construction prevents rolling or twisting while the shrink-resistant fabric holds its shape. It won't weaken when pierced by a needle and it won't narrow when stretched. The real question is what can’t this elastic do?

This is my second order, the first time I got this it was amazing! This time I noticed the actual elastic looked different. Once I stretched it it started to roll! So it is different from the last lot of elastic. The first lot was amazing and it’s my favourite, just a shame it’s different this time. And it’s quite expensive elastic. But this elastic is my best seller for my scrunchies! Such a shame it’s not up to the same quality 🥺

Perfect for all the rompers and dresses I’ve made for my girl. I had so much left and when we started making masks, I was able to make hundreds of masks with the elastic.

I sew a lot and buying it ind buck it is cheaper and I uselessly use this brand I like that it does it roll over when you’re not with that top stitching it’s stronger and more stutter then just buying the non roll type

I love being stocked up and this roll is perfect, especially in my new experience of no-roll elastic that I've needed for so long. I have yet to use it but it seems durable in stretch so far.

I will be using this elastic for waist bands in skirts and pajamas. It feels strong and made of good quality. I’ll update this post with the finished garments and more info.

Saved so much money buying this from Amazon - no down side. It's exactly like what is sold at JoAnns in smaller amounts but since I always need this for work, the bulk buy was more fiscally responsible.

It is elastic. It is in a roll. What can you say? It stretched.

I am very happy with the quality of this product and I will order it again. The quality is almost as good as the Dritz brand, which happens to be a lot more expensive. I do agree with another reviewer, though, that there are a few ends that were spliced together. It will pull apart easily, and those pieces might be wasted if the pieces wind up being smaller than you need.
