These work better than the brand name ones. They stay in, churn out the line with ease and have a more rigid line that stays straight out and doesn't curl back. They also cost way less. This pack of 8 cost less than the price of 2 from my local hardware store (1 cost $14 with taxes). Purchased for a Greenworks Trimmer Model STA805 and the replacement line was #21162.

I thought it would have worked for my 80V Greenworks weed eater but they were too small. Would have needed to remove string and replace it on current spool. Sent it back.

I purchased these because they are suppose to be compatible with my Greenworks electric trimmer. Like other people on here I have problems with pieces of the plastic spool breaking off inside the trimmer head which makes the cord tangle up inside so it doesn’t auto feed. You have stop trimming, take off the cap and untangle the line and manually feed enough out to continue trimming and repeat till you are done. Very time consuming. I purchased a 4 pack and so far each one has had the same issue. Save time and sound a little more on the authentic Greenworks trimmer line. Cheaper in this case is definitely not better!

These refills are quick and easy to use. I got some of the string thinking to save a bit by refilling the spools (there's a YouTube video), but it's sorta like those exercise machines that seem like a good idea but never get used. These are a lot easier, especially if you're not too coordinated, like me, and your young relatives are markedly unwilling to volunteer, like mine.These don't really cost that much and are *much* less hassle. 🙃

Ok so a few years ago I purchased a green pro weed eater along with a blower and hedge trimmer but today we are talking about the weed eater so over these past few years been doing lots of yard work but just a few days ago we completed building a fence and weeds were all over the place so before we put up the fence I ordered there replacement cartridges of weed eater trim line .064 it came with 4 cartridges and a brand new cap but since both original caps were still in good condition I put the new one aside so I was out of trim line took one of the new replacements out of the box 📦 dropped it in for test fitment it was perfect fit so took the trim line fed it the the necessary holes 🕳 put the cap on and I was back in business I ended up doing the entire yard street side after cleaning up we focused on the fence was completed last night just finished before we had a freak rain storm ⛈ thunderstorm ⛈ electrical storm ⛈ as for the replacement cartridges excellent fully satisfied will order again I will re-edit this comment with the name and part number as soon as possible
