I'd read that the mechanism to set this stun gun off was tricky, but I didn't find it so. While I would agree, in an "emergency situation" you ideally don't want something too challenging to use, but I'd say this is fine for me at least. I personally have more concerns about accidentally setting it off in my pocket and tasing myself or someone else. It's likely to stay in my pocket 99.9% of the time, perhaps never to be used, so it being safe 99.9% of the time is better than it being super easy to use on the off chance I ever need to use it.Also, I'd say, after trying it out, the sound alone of the snap when it turns on, would be enough to make most would-be attackers back off.Stay safe!

Ordered the "Stun Guns for Women Self Defense, Multifunctional Stun Gun with Flashlight" from the Recolorfine Store. Looks like a good design. Happy with the unit, hope to never need to use it.

This unit is stylish and feels great in the hand when I'm walking to my car alone in some sketchy areas. I generally have this unit in my purse but it certainly is something I feel much more confident having with me. I don't travel alone at night often but when I do this unit is within reach. The flashlight works well and I keep the charge level managed and this at the ready. The unit sits well in the purse or in the console of my car.

This is a joke. The taser has less voltage than a mosquito zapper and the siren sounds like a little bird chirping. Besides, by the time you flip all the switches and hit the button it's too late. I would not waste my time or money on this garbage. This review is for the product listed as, “Stun Guns for Women Self Defense, Multifunctional Stun Gun with Flashlight (Purple) by Recolorfine."

You will have to practice getting this ready for self-defense. The safety features are good, to keep you from hurting yourself, but the two side buttons are too similar. ...Still, for the price, It's better to have it. It is powerful, though

I like the small size and big punch of the stun on this Recolofine. When not using the "stun", it has a solid flashlight and a very loud siren to alert folks around you. There are two switches. One to turn "on" the unit for use with the flashlight if needed. You can't "accidentally" trigger the stun or siren. On the opposite side is an "arm" switch, When both the ON switch and the ARM switch are both on, the stun and siren buttons are both functional. It's not hard at all to engage the arming switch while carrying this small device. Reaching forward with the stunner is natural, and the thumb button to stun is in a natural place that makes emergency use an easy move to make. Let's hope you don't have to use it.My only concern is that the switches are small, and don't feel very sturdy for long term use. They work, but I wish they were a bit "beefier". One of them feels a bit loose. That may be just my individual unit, it's hard to tell. I have a second, larger Recolofine stun unit that is really solid, and this one works the same.I do llike this particular stun unit for my wife to carry around- she feels a bit safer with it, and despite its small size, it will do the trick.

Extremely cheap. I wouldn't give this to anyone for self defense

The product itself feels really cheap. The way the safety works is really confusing at first. Both switches have to be on. The main thing is that the LED turns red when armed. One star off for using micro usb as well. Most devices, even cheaper speakers use USB C nowadays.
