The leaf spring is a 6 leaf spring measuring 29 1/2 inches from center eye to end of the slipper, rated at 4,000 lb capacity per spring. You would use a pair of these springs on an 8,000 lb 8 lug trailer axle, which are typically seen with 2" x 3" square or 3" round axle tubing. This would typically be on a heavy-duty utility trailer, RV trailer, cargo trailer, or livestock trailer.If you notice that your leaf springs have become worn or corroded, it would be ideal to replace them in pairs. This is to ensure that your trailer's ride height is uniform on both sides. If you are needing Leaf Spring Mounting Bolts, this spring would use 9/16" diameter bolts, most commonly in the 3 1/2" Length. The most common axle diameter that this trailer leaf spring would mount to would be a 3" Round, using the Trailer Leaf Spring U-Bolt Kit Round Oiled fits 3 inch Round Axles.
