Really very sheer! So much that you can read the tag right through them! I had to order eight panels (four for each window) in order to achieve the look of the marketing photo. They are pretty, but wish the fabric was thicker.

I have hung this valance with a tension rod positioned halfway up a bathroom window on the 2nd floor so it acts more like a kitchen curtain than a valance. The folds provide adequate privacy and the beautiful sky can still be enjoyed. I love the style. Every time I look at it from the inside or the outside, I admire it.

I transformed my kitchen into a 1950's look. After buying red and white checkered table cloth and curtains putting a checkered valance up would of been so much red. After researching valances I thought this would be great. It is stunning. It is well made and easy to hang.

The curtains was very thin and looked cheap. The picture looks great on line but when hung up, it is not worth what you pay.
