Button Guide
- Eraser Side Button. You just press and hold the button to delete and erase your mistakes quickly.
- Right-click and Select Button. Let the tip contact the screen --> press the right-click button --> a circle appear around the pointer --> let the tip leave the screen --> the menu will appear automatically and you can select the options.
4096 Pressure Level
The stylus is equipped with a complex and precise 4096-level pressure sensor, which can accurately judge the force you apply to the pen tip.
Easy to Use
The surface Pen doesn't require any special software or Bluetooth connection in order to be used; just turn it on and start writing. In addition, the pen will automatically shut down after 10 minutes of inactivity to save power.

I have used this product just a couple of times because it does not work well with my surface. I would recommend spending the extra money to purchase the Microsoft brand pen to avoid buying both like I did.

I have a SP6, so perhaps some of the issue is with my device, which is why I'm giving this stylus the benefit of the doubt. My problem with it is that it does not tap/left-click like the original stylus, and instead requires me to hold it in place for about a second to get the left-click function. The right-click works as expected. I like that it is rechargeable and the cable is provided (although short, but fine if you have a power bank), along with replacement tips and a gripper (not big enough to be called tweezers). Basically, this is ready to go out of the box and works, but it just lags. A newer device might have a better response, but for my older device, this is an emergency backup and not a genuine alternative.

I use the Surface pen with my HP Envy 2 in 1 laptop for digital art and ordered this as a backup. I’ve compared the functionality and performance of this pen to my Surface pen and have no real complaints. It is responsive, writes smoothly, performance is similar. I didn’t notice any immediate differences. I docked a star mostly due to comfort. It doesn’t feel as nice or comfortable in the hand. The pros far outweighs the cons though and it’s a great value.
