The turn to suction is nice and secure. It's very robust and solid for small cameras. It really needs a bag or case to keep all the bits together.

Four suction cups make a difference. More strength and more balance. The suction cups hold well. I use an Insta360 X4 with this. Even though it notes it can handle a DSLR, I wouldn't trust it. The max load is 4.4 LBS, way to underpowered for a DSLR or mirrorless camera but good for an action camera. For these invest in a Fat Gecko Triple. You don't want to take chances on a very expensive camera. I like the fact it is all metal. The selfie stick locks in place, no creep! Like all suction cup attachments, make sure the surface is squeaky clean before attaching the device. A slight amount of film can cause a failure.

Very sturdy and strong.I used to be nervous putting an expensive camera on a pole using nothing but suctions cups. My old mount only used three cups. The additional suction cups included with this mount not only share the load so it's less likely to come off but the additional mounting point also provide more stability and less movement from the wind.Very unique shots using a 360 camera on top of my car's glass roof.

I had really high hopes for this device but was disappointed by a couple of things. First off, the box arrives without any directions. Secondly, the suction mounts aren't of the quality I was expecting. I'm looking for a sturdy rubber pad with a suction pump that ensures the camera is stable and secure. Each of the suction cups has a suction switch that you flip. In my estimation, that's a second rate means of creating and keeping suction. The stick is relatively heavy and will likely be raised above the vehicle so you need the device to be top quality. I was pleased to see that the mounting brackets are metal not plastic, so that is a sign of quality. I would just like to see the suction mounts have a higher rubber (not just plastic) cup with a more secure suction producer.

This is a great camera mount for on top of your car if you're just wanting to be able to record without the windshield being in the way and causing glare, etc and so on. You'll need to figure out a way to keep the thing powered, though. I chose to have a strapped down battery bank in a waterproof case powering the GoPro I have.Works perfect for my drives when I just want to get some beautiful shots.

So I have now used this twice and it is working well. I would not put a large dslr on it, but for an action camera, or 360 camera it works great! Holds well to a clean smooth surface. A good value if you use it correctly!
