For long rides or even shorter rids, these bibs are the most comfortable. I also love the side pockets to store food, gels, small tools, or whatever I need!

Given the price I was expecting this to perform better and last longer than some other bib shorts that may be 2/3-3/4 the price. That wasn't the case. The chamois soon became harsh -- this wound up being the first set of bib shorts that basically needed chamois cream for every ride. The tactile material that held the thighs down wore off quickly so they would start to sort of roll-up inside out. The reflective material rubbed off. The Sugoi logo started coming apart.. Just a bit of a disappointment on the durability. Quality wise it was just average, even with good care and line drying. Would not recommend.Pros:ComfortableMy first bib shorts with pockets - now something I must haveLightweight yet still pretty warm on some of those brisk ridesCons:Chamois not good qualityChamois occasionally uncomfortableLow quality thigh adhesive and reflective material

This is my second Sugoi century bib. They’re better (more comfortable) than the $300 Assos RS Equipe. It also has the side leg pockets which are incredible! The size is large - 5’11” and 187lbs.

Great materials and the best chamois made.

I do most of my riding very early in the morning and started wearing bib shorts years ago. Was searching for something with high visibility to replace my now worn out mostly yellow Bib's. I log about 3,000 miles a season including many century plus training rides and charity rides. I wore these for the 228-mile-in-one-day Ride Across Wisconsin, August 2019.- Sizing/Fit. Large was rather tight the first time I put them on, yet after a few rides and washings is just about right. Very pleased (I'm 6'3" and 210#s).Construction. Made from a heavier material and does a great job of compression. I tend to prefer shorts like this, especially once I converted to bibs. I'm told the reflective surfaces by the leg openings are notable - I light my bike up with two forward facing lights, a rear blinker, and blinkers inserted into the ends of each drop on the handlebars. Would prefer the bibs be mostly yellow / other high visibility color; reflective surfaces are a reasonable compromise.- Chamois. Overall very pleased. I always use chamois cream, even for shorter training rides. Only issue - on long 228 mile ride (14.5 hours elapsed from start to finish), the front curved top-stitched chamois seam wore a raw, burning spot just below the waist. Knowing this, a bit more cream here early then re-applied as needed would prevent. Seriously, the most comfortable bib's I've found yet for century or longer rides.- Side Pockets. All I can say is these side pockets ROCK! Kept cell phone in thin sandwich bag on right side, money / ID / Cards in thin sandwich bag on left side. Kept all my back pockets for food and other items without worrying about accidentally pulling either of these things out and losing them. The extra layer of material does perhaps cause you to sweat a bit more (and of course the plastic covered items in the pockets keeps the wind from cooling that specific spot on your leg) but for the benefit of these pockets, the change in cooling of those small spots on my legs is a total non-issue.- Chaffing nips from straps. On longer rides (more than 2 hours) or on very hot days for all rides I cover with band-aids. Have not had any issues and appreciate the strap width / durability. Had other bibs where strap material was softer yet ended up putting thumbs through it while putting on long before the rest of the bibs had worn out.- Durability. I wash bibs after every ride (have a washer with efficient small load / short cycle). Counting on Strava nearly 30 rides / washings so far. The external logo lettering is starting to crack. Leg gripping material holding up great as well as chamois. I typically wear the same pair of bib's for most rides (have leg warmers then thermal pull-overs as the temps fall in our northern climate). I hope to get between 1 and 2 years - these seem like they will go the distance.SUGOi Zap Bib's are NOT cheap; as many note, you get what you pay for. In my opinion they the real deal and if SUGOi keeps them with all the features I note here, I'll definitely purchase again when I need my next pair. Hope this helps!

I've owned about a dozen Sugoi bib shorts over last 8 years. I ride 4,000 to 5,000 miles per year and north of 60. These are serviceable but just OK. For riding century rides, I was looking to replace my 3 yr old Sugoi RSE bib shorts. These RS shorts are not appropriate - no more than 30 or 40 miles at most. Chamois isn't adequate, just a little tight on crotch and across thighs but bearable. So, still looking for century capable shorts.

These bib knicks are seriously good. As soon as you put them on you can feel the quality. The shorts are thicker than normal and feel like you are wearing a comfortable pair of compression/ wetsuit shorts. The chamois is by far the best on the market. I’ve worn other brands and these are so much better. In terms of overall comfort they are the best on the market. The new side pockets are also really handy. Buy them. You won’t be dissatisfied. Don’t be scared off by the price - what you pay for is what you get.

Nice, love the pocket but the medium is smaller than expected (but still comfortable). I'm 5'10" and 162 lbs. Waist 32. Inseam (when not wearing) measures 9 inches as advertised and that is comparable to my other bibs but for some reason they are shorter when I put them on.
