I wish the underbrim fabric was the same grey as the top material, I knew it was 2 tone when selecting this but I think I would like it more if the underbrim was a darker color at at least the same as the top grey material. The brim around measures 3 1/4. The listing and the tag in the hat indicate sizing wise this is 58-60cm. I'm normally around 23 1/2 inches or 59-60cm and this hat fits pretty comfortably for me, not too tight and not too loose. There are 2 straps on the hat, one is a thinner string attached by hooks to the underbrim and has a spring clamp at the end of it to tighten as needed. The second strap looks like a wide shoelace and I like the look of this one however instead of a spring clamp at the end it looks like a piece of plastic with 2 holes in it for the lace to slide through, it functions but just feels like this should have also been a spring clamp. The hat is lightweight and feels ok while wearing it. It feels like there is a thin piece of wire tucked into the outside edge of the brim to allow some shaping but the wire feels thin enough I don't know if it would hold up well with extensive manipulation. I like the little Swedish flag tag on the upper brim but the inner tag still says made in China. The inner crown has mesh lining along the walls of the crown but not the top of the crown. I'm not sure how much ventilation this has yet but no specific direct openings in the crown aside from some very tiny eyelet holes. The crown material does appear to be lighter than the brim material so hopefully it will prove to be breathable.

So, I was disappointed at first because the hat brim is only shapeable because of a wire running through the outer edge. I tried and tried to make it look smooth and even, but it rebelled. My perfectionism can't stand to look at this hat, so mirrors are out. The two straps confused me until I realized they were giving me options. One or both should be removed before wearing. As far as sizing, it claims to be unisex and a general medium. In fact, this is what the listing says about the size, "The adjustable headband ensures a perfect fit for 22.8"-23.6" head sizes". That's pretty large for a medium, especially coming from China. It was too large for my husband, and a bit loose on me. I would definitely need one of the straps if I wear it on a breezy day. It is pretty comfortable to wear, and sun protection was the main reason I got it. I would love it if it didn't look so wobbly on. When I snapped up the sides of the hat for the "cowboy" look, my husband remarked that I looked like the flying nun. I do like the neutral colors, just not the moldable wire edge.

This sun hat is fairly gender-neutral. I received a medium, but it feels large. It’s very lightweight and should serve its purpose. As other reviews have noted, it doesn’t hold its shape well, despite an internal wire in the brim for support. It arrives wadded up and wrinkled, and even after a week, the wrinkles persist. It's a bit pricey. All things considered, it’s a practical hat to toss in a backpack and use when needed.

What a great hat! Its so lightweight! There's a big fat shoelace type strap on it that's really comfortable on your skin if you don't want to use the black cord. and there's a very thin wire in the brim of the hat so its poseable to keep the son out of your eyes from any angle! The snaps are really big and secure but there's no padding on the back so snap them before you put it on and not against your head XD But that's not a negative bc the fabric is so light and airy I bet I could feel the breeze! better secure that strap first! come packed real small in a flat box so minimal packaging is a plus!

I have to be honest, when I first got this it didn't look like it did in the product picture. I felt a little disappointed at first. However, after using this outside in the hot sun splitting and stacking firewood and burning debris in a fire pit, I have to say that I'm absolutely loving this hat. I'm going to go on a fishing trip next month and definitely taking this one with me.What I love:It's breathable so you won't sweat as much as you would wearing most other hats.It's lightweight and you almost forget you're wearing it.It covers the back of the neck fully so those sunburned necks will be a thing of the past.You can actually mold this one a little bit so if you want the flap up a bit, you can do that.This works for men or women. I've been wearing this out working a lot and my neighbor even commented on how nice of a hat this is.What I don't loveThe strings seem a little weird to me. The hat fits fine on my head and stays put even with wind so I don't really need to synch up the strings too much. I just let them dangle down by my chest in case a major gust blows but I don't really synch up the strings for this one.Overall, I love this hat. Wasn't what I expected at first, but this is my new favorite hat to wear while out in the hot sun.
