Really does pull the suntan lotion out of the water and helps keep water clear. Always have one sitting in my skimmer.

Still works ok, but appears to not to be made of exactly same materials as an earlier purchase.It doesn’t seem to work quite as well as the same ones that we purchased 1 & 1/2 years ago. (Exact same brand.)I’m sure this is not any fault of the seller and instead a manufacturer issue. This item was shipped quickly.

We initially got these in a pool starter kit and they worked well. We kept them in the skimmer and they absorbed oils and other debris well. Purchase a cheaper brand the following year and they didn’t hold up at all so we’ve gone back to these. We use only 1-2 per season.

Last summer, algae was a HUGE problem in this Texas heat. By mid July, we were spending minimal time in the pool (1-2 times a week) because the rest of our time was spent cleaningand battling algae. I bought this along with the Intex skimmer after watchingTik Tok videos. What a game changer! 100% worth it!

I was hesitant to buy this product at first thinking it could just be a gimmick but it really works!!This will definitely be something I will purchase again, and again, I am pleasantly surprised with how well it works.

Maybe it's good for sunscreen, but ours just seems to be quite dirty and buggy after a couple weeks in our tiny pool.
