Love this book. I had a quilt that my mother quilted years ago and this book brings back a lot of memories. I love to embellish my little Sunbonnet girls, and I have received a lot of compliments on my quilts given as gifts.

I like it a lot but the iron ons are not iron ons you have to trace on to iron on paper but other than that I would recommend easy to follow instructions and she gives u helpful tips even a beginer like me can do it. It arrived on time to.

le livre est très joli avec de beaux patrons à reproduire, mon seul mauvais point sera pour le texte qui est en anglais. La dernière fois que j'ai mis en pratique mon anglais scolaire, date d'au moins 45 ans, je suis débutante en "appliqué", alors ce sera très dur.

I am working on an applique quilt using 30 and 40 prints for the sue and scottie detail. so far I think it is so wonderful!!!

The designs in this book are meant for both redwork and applique and are all soooooo beautiful, perfect for children's quilts as it shows Sunbonnet Sue in various playing situations. Great resource for your embroidery and applique library!

I am making my grandchildren Quillows (a pillow that becomes a quilt). For the girls I am using the pictures of Sunbonnet and Scottie and making them into redwork patchwork quilt blocks. This book is just what I required, the pictures are just the right signs for a 9" quilt block without having to enlarge/reduce the size. There are enough different pictures for the three girls to have unique quilts.
