I bought these 4" lights for my garage. I originally purchased lights that needed to be plugged in and had a pull chain. These hard-wired lights were a better fit. Installation was quick and easy. Best of all, my garage is much brighter. I couldn't be happier.

I think most important to me on these lights was the actual temperature being nice and warm as I enjoy working under warmer lights. Setting these up in my dedicated laser cutting room these lights are higher than average for other light bars I've ordered in the past and in this category of size and value. No issues with flickering and the installation was pretty straight forward. I cut some custom holes to mount it but it wasn't a big deal. Highly recommended as it's versatile brightness and temperature switches are easy to get to and the value is excellent!

I was very excited about these lights for my garage because quality lighting has always been an issue in there. These lights are bright, and seem to be decent quality. They don't weigh hardly anything in comparison to similar fixtures which made the installation relatively simple and quick. Everything you need comes with it to install it, including wire nuts, drywall anchors etc.Where things went wrong is that one of the lights only lights up 1/2 of the fixture, so that's a problem because sure, I'll get a replacement, but now I have to do the work to install them twice. Having the time to install them in the first place was challenging because I had to do it while my 2-year-old was taking a nap. Having to do it twice just sucks and I'm not happy about it.On the other hand I do like the color temperature adjustment. I have other lights in the area and I'm pretty OCD about color matching everything. Adjustable color temperature will also become very helpful if I need to view paints and finishes with more of a true daylight spectrum which is around 4k-5k. It's pretty hard to see true colors at 6000k, so the 4000k option is welcomed. All in all, if it came working I would have given it five stars. You can see from the second photo in my review that despite only half of the light working, it does provide quite a bit of usable light and I can easily see my work pieces.

Very bright, light as a feather. Replaced my old ballasts that had a total of 16 bulbs and 4 of these are way brighter and light bulbs don’t flicker to cut on wish they were about 4” longer to fit perfect over 3 trusses in my garage tho instead of 2.

After wiring them up It's a little difficult to get the tiny screws on the cover back in while holding it in place and the metal cover is so flimsy you can't just put one screw in let it hold it, it will bend under its own weight. Other than that, it is a nice bright light that you can adjust for color temperature and wattage

Plainly put, outstanding. These lights are great. I purchased this set to replace two bulbs in my garage. The outcome? It could've not been better. Really pleased with these Sunco lights.

I ordered these 4' lights from Sunco for an unfinished room in our basement. For the wiring, you can mount this to a ceiling box and make the connections inside of that. Otherwise, you can bring the power into the fixture using a cable clamp or grommet although there isn't a lot of room to work with inside. There are also knock outs on the ends, so you can insert cable clamps and run conduit to the next light instead of running wire through the ceiling. The Good:- Bright with good coverage- They have a slim profile and take up less headroom which is critical for our low ceilings.- There are switches inside to adjust wattage/brightness (70, 60, 50 watt) and color (4000, 5000, 6000 K) depending on your needs and tastes. You only need to back out one screw on each side to remove a thin cover that will give you access to the wiring and switches.- They are light and easy to install. The Bad:- The built-in mounting holes/slots are not spaced 16" on-center. It is close, but not close enough to work, so you may need to drill extra holes.Overall, these are good, low-profile, versatile lights for a wide range of applications.
