Bummed that it showed up with a decent sized dent in the top of it because it’s exactly what I was looking for at a good price. Trashed the box and packing materials opening it so I feel like I can’t exchange it for an undamaged one, so I guess I’ll live with it.

The awning case is very well made and sturdy. Seems perfect for the UV abuse anything receives outside in Florida. The downside is the totally crappy mounting hardware. It works, but looks and installs like someone took a wild guess at what was needed and guessed wrong. I will be sourcing new bolts for this.

This is an amazing buy. I was pretty excited when it came and boy it was long. After set up, I'm finally able to have the convenience of shade and reliability. Absolutely water resistant and stable legs. Great look may I add. 👍

This awning is exactly what I was look for. Aluminum shell, 2000x2500 with semi auto retractable. I had an ARB on order which was to long 8x8 and had to be rolled up. To much for one person. So I cancel my order and purchase two of these for $200 less than one ARB.

I previously purchased a Yakima SlimShady awning, but I decided to return it. The best part of the Yakima canopy was to Clamp bracket that worked perfectly with our Yakima roof rack. The awning itself, however, was difficult to set up and even more difficult to fit everything back after use. The advantage/disadvantage of this rack is just the opposite. It is much easier to set up and take down--no problem doing it with just one person. Everything seems sturdy and I live not having to hold the rolled up awning in place while trying to zip the cover closed (as need with the Yakima model). The way it attached to the roof racks, however, is very basic. I've attached some photos of the bracket. It is functional, but very primitive compared to the Yakima system. (I ended up purchasing some different bolts that work better with the track system.) On the whole, I think it is the best awning solution I have found for out application. Once attached to the vehicle, it works great.

Nicely made. Easy to install and open/close. Note actual length is 7' and pulls out 8'. All the poles work well. Fun project.

Overall seemed OK but on first full set, up one of the vertical pole supports snapped off at the eye portion that bolts onto the canopy end. Poor quality material and appears to be swage formed or an incomplete mold. The plastic piece has gaps in the material where it broke.

This awning is exceptional quality and would have been an easy install if the directions were even adequate. They are printed so tiny that I had to use a magnifying glass to see the diagrams and print. There was information missing which created confusion with the install and operation of the awning. However, the seller was prompt with their replies and I am very happy with the awning. The awning is 5 star, but the instructions are worth only 1 star. The seller would have avoided additional customer contact and the buyer would avoid frustration with a much improved instruction manual!
