I’m a diesel mechanic and needed a 12 point 13mm socket for driveline bolts. I’ve gone through many sockets. This is the same quality as ones you would get from a tooltruck. So far so good it fits perfectly and hasn’t rounded out yet. If it does round out, it was so cheap that I’ve already made my money back from it and I’ll definitely buy it again.

Took a little wear on first use but was specifically bought for a very stuck bolt. Worked perfectly though after hours of struggle for no reason trying to use a 6 point.

Replacing front axle u joints on a 98 Jeep Cherokee. This is the needed tool. Impact grade, short, good fit. It’s what was needed and appears to be of good quality.

I was quite pleased with this socket overall. For the home mechanic this will work great. I bought it to use at work for semi tractor U-joint bolts and it lasted about two months with frequent heavy use on my Thor impact. Given the nature of 12 point driveline bolts I was actually pleased it lasted as long as it did. For reference, the SnapOn socket I got to replace it only lasted 5 months so for the price the Sunex did well! For the home mechanic I recommend it. For professional use it will get you by for a while but it's really not designed for it.

As a retired machinist, Sunex was always a brand I knew I could trust. As a jeep owner, I needed a 12 point socket to replace the hubs. This filled the bill on both fronts -- the size and style I required plus a brand I trust. Perfect combo for the win. Only thing I didn't care for was the laser etching. It has been my experience it never lasts. Other than that miniscule/irrelevant complaint, I'm more than satisfied. I'd give 5 stars but nobody really believes that to be accurate. Definitely recommend both the seller and the tool!

Quality socket, when you need it you need it. Have had to use a swing press to jam the socket on a couple rusty bolts and it didn't complain

If you want a solid socket for those wheel hub bolts, get this brand. It is heavy and solid. No shiny stuff here. It certainly can take the beating from an impact wrench.I do my maintenance and impact sockets are sometimes necessary.I have other Sunex tools as well.
