This is my second one, good value for the money im a heavy tow guy and use it for driveshafts so for the one it works good and for price if i loose it im not pissed about it.Sunex will honor the warranty on it but they are not fast on doing anything so i ordered a second

Purchased this socket to remove and install u-joint straps on big truck driveshafts because I was tired of my 3/8" gun not breaking the bolts loose, causing me to have to use a 1/2" adapter and 1/2" gun most of the time.After breaking the pin in the universal portion of my 3/8" drive Gray Pneumatic universal socket, I decided I needed a 1/2" drive socket, instead. From all visual appearances, this Sunex socket seems to be made by the same factory as the Gray Pneumatic sockets, and works just as well as the GP sockets.Note that the size of the ball-and-socket pin in the universal portion of the socket is exactly the same in the 1/2" drive version as it is in the 3/8" drive version. You're not getting a stronger socket, only one that will work on a bigger impact gun.Four stars instead of five because I would have liked a 1/2" drive socket that has a stronger universal joint than the 3/8" drive socket had.
