Bought this socket to work on the suspension of a Mercedes C300. Worked great for removing the rear lower control arm bolts. I wanted the stubby size since its a tight fit with the bolt right next to the exhaust pipe. I used an impact wrench to remove the nut and used this socket on a ratchet just to hold it from spinning. To remove the bolt from the bushing I did use the socket on an impact wrench and it held up fine though wasnt really under alot of pressure.Length of the socket is approx 1-1/8" (29.5mm).Update- I've used this socket a few more times the past year and it's still holding up fine. Same thing, basically use the socket to hold the bolt from spinning while removing the buts but then will use an impact wrench to have to back out the bolts to remove them.
