Mechanic here. I expected the worst, especially because it costed me under 10$. Not a genuine Sunex item. Literally one bolt that i started to loosen, and it began twisting at low resistance.I gave 2 stars because it can serve you well if the fasteners are not stuck.

Ordered as a replacement. I have replaced a few of these sockets over the years and have no complaints about the set this socket goes with, however this socket seems to be a knock off. Not stamped, does not say made in Taiwan, and does not have the sun ex trademark on it. Definitely disappointed in this replacement of an excellent tool.

I’m normally a fan of Sunex tools but this one falls very short. First use attempting to remove a bolt and the tip of the bit snapped clean off. I’ve had better luck with cheap HF bits than this one.

I used this to tighten a disc brake rotor on a bike and the splines began to twist even though torque spec was only 4nm (using a well calibrated torque wrench). I can't imagine how this would fail under actual impact applications.I would NOT buy this again.
