I needed this to remove the flywheel from a 2500HD Duramax truck. I used a 1000ft/lb impact with this socket and the socket held up with absolutely no problems. I had a couple of others that either stripped or snapped in half. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs to break apart some heavy duty bolts. The socket also fit the bolts with very little play.
