These aren’t the same Sunex sockets that have been used for years. They are now made in China and even look cheap made. You aren’t getting the socket in the picture. You’re getting a Chinese-made variant.

I am a heavy equipment diesel mechanic for caterpillar as well as a tool fanatic. I Love all sorts of brands of high-quality tools both on and off the tool trucks. I absolutely love all Sunex impact sockets! Most of my impact sockets are Sunex. I think they are very comparable to snap on sockets.The only reason I do not give them four stars is because there is no chamfer around the Square Drive therefore leading to some burring overtime as they wear. This doesn’t affect the usability of the socket but I would say that it does not look the nicest.
