These air-stones work great and the size is perfect to use inside sponge filters to quiet them down. I’ve been using them for a year and they are very durable and I haven't had any clog. So far been great value for money and would buy again.

This aerator puts out pretty good sized bubbles. It is made of ceramic so it won't break down like natural stone. Please note: the bubbles that it puts out are too large for small, delicate fish. It would be great for goldfish or Betas. I actually bought these to put in my oxygen humidifier, as the bubbles coming out of the oxygen generator would get up in my breathing tube. Making smaller bubbles stops this migration. Being made of ceramic, I was able to sterilize the stone with alcohol, before putting it in the oxygen system.
